Alright,

Well, I've had this idea floating through my head. The idea is inspired by a school mate of mine by the name of Calen Morelli. I've known him since I was ten years old. We used to live across the street from each other and we graduated high school together and all that good stuff.

Anyways, Calen got into magic sometime in 11th grade I believe. The fact of the matter is, he was really, REALLY good. So, after high school he made it into a career. He started a blog called 365 Days of Magic (Google it) where every day he would show via video uploaded to Youtube a new illusion. So everyday he would create a brand new, original illusion. It ended up not panning completely out, because the dude go fuckin hired by David Coperfield and he works for him in Vegas now. So, he didn't really have time to make a new illusion because he's busy, you know, WORKING FOR FUCKING DAVID COPERFIELD!

But, I digress,

So anyways, this got me thinking. I'm a hip-hop artist, but seriously making a song every single day just doesn't sound like greatest idea. It's possible, I don't think the quality of lyrics and production would eventually go downhill. But that's not what I was getting at anyways. Because recently, I decided to delve back into poetry. I used to write a lot of poetry back when I was 15 to 17 years old. Some of them are actually pretty decent from someone that age. I've written two new poems recently and I actually kind of like them.

So, if you see where I'm going with this, well, no kudos because it should be obvious by now. How about I do a 365 Days of Poetry deal. Maybe give it a better title, I don't know. Because a poem every day, well that's totally doable. I mean, a poem can take me anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes to write. I could dedicate time to do it. I could write a couple poems one day and not post them at the same time, in case I miss a day. Basically the thing is to post a new one every day right? For a whole year. Hence the 365 Days yadda yadda yadda.

And then I got to thinking, maybe I should just make a brand new DA account for all this. I mean, this account is pretty dead anyways. I'm not very active on this site, I'm just kinda sorta getting back into it have a good couple years hiatus. But I'm really interested in writing poetry again.

Damn...this journal entry is too long...my bad.

BUT

I have another idea. For the past year I've been going on and off on this dream journal right. You know, I'd do it a few times a week for a month, then not write any entries for a few months, then write some more. And trust me, if you write down your dreams you had as the first thing you do when you wake up, and you continue to do so, you start remembering a lot more of your dreams. So, I was thinking, at the same time I submit a poem everyday, I could also submit a dream journal entry.

After typing all this, I totally want to do it. I want to make a blog too, not just have it on DA. I know Tumblr is pretty popular, but if anyone reading this is a blogger, please I'm open to suggestions.

Yeah....this is long, I know.

Oh, and P.S.:

I plan on starting this January 1st of 2012. That would seem like the most logical time to start a 365 day thing, right? Bueno.

I had a look at Throw Rocks And Spit Raps. I think:
You're a good producer, as was said before, but I was a bit put off by some of the female voice samples.
Your rapping isn't bad, though some of the lyrics were a bit iffy. Good rhythm, though. I showed my mate and he said you sound inexperienced; there's only one way to fix that: keep making more.
