Where I Stand

Alright, it's been a long time since I've put in a journal entry. Over a year if I remember right. Since that time I deleted all my old journal entries, deleted my information, blah blah blah. I would delete all my old poems but it would take a long time and hell, if someone really wants to read them then be my guest. Most of them aren't worth anything, but it's nice to see how my writing as aged in time. Some of them I still actually like...

Anyways, I still write, but I don't submit them to this site. Why? Well, if you really know me and want to hear my writing you'd know where to find them. Deviant is a nice place to upload your art and let them be seen, but it's a community site, not an art site. It's always nice to meet new friends online, and it's nice to have your work appreciated, but this isn't really the place for me. I still log on every few days, check my messages and browse new deviations from artists I've come across and added to my watch. Don't get me wrong, I like this site, but I take it for what I see it as.

And just for shits, I want to tell a little, short story. I was on a few months ago, and out of pure boredom I went into one of the chat rooms. When I got there someone asked something like "Who is CrazyVato?" So they pulled up my profile and noticed the "Grown Weary of Deviantart" status on it. They asked me if I had grown weary of the site then why the fuck was on it. Now these people were obviously a group of kids (even if they were my age or older) who didn't like my kind (what's my kind? I would like to put myself in a 'rational' category of people). I sort of tried explaining to them my reasoning, even though I though it was pretty self-explanority. Didn't work nonethless. I was then banned from the room. I tried going into other rooms, but almost everyone I clicked on I was already banned from them from back in my days where I was on deviantart chats a lot. I remembered getting banned for using profanity, questioning peoples statements, not agreeing with people...basically for being myself. I thought it was funny, and still find some humor out of it to this day.

Anyways, I have no real reason of motivation to post anything on this site, and am only writing this journal entry to those maybe two or three people who wondered what happened to me.

I had a look at Throw Rocks And Spit Raps. I think:
You're a good producer, as was said before, but I was a bit put off by some of the female voice samples.
Your rapping isn't bad, though some of the lyrics were a bit iffy. Good rhythm, though. I showed my mate and he said you sound inexperienced; there's only one way to fix that: keep making more.

BOW DOWN SNAIL, FOR I HAVE DOMINION!
Exactly. I figure the more I write the better I'll get.
Definitely.

I'm not doing too bad. Just enjoying life, trying to find a job.
Look for something you'll enjoy, then go for entry-level. Be the best at that level and the bosses will take notice. You won't be at entry-level for very long. :handshake:
Maybe signing up with a temp agency might help. Or several temp agencies. That's how I had gotten a good job back in the '90's. Worked my tail off as a temp, the company kept asking for me back, and eventually they hired me. :)
